About Faarah Misbah, LAMFT
I’m a therapist who believes that you and your relationships are important.
I believe choosing mental well-being is as important as choosing physical well-being. I chose to be systemically trained because there is a huge need for an emphasis on the importance of the relationships that shaped us and continue to do so. That’s because for some of us the dominant narrative just doesn't work. We require a more nuanced approach that balances self-care with relational responsibilities. I prioritize helping you within your relationships, because I get it. Family, marriage and community commitments are vital, even when there are challenges. You deserve to maintain what’s important to you, while also focusing on your own feelings of peace and wellness. The priority is balance.

Now for some fun stuff about me:
I am a daughter, wife, sister and friend. When I’m not being a therapist I can be found reading, writing, crafting, or spending time browsing bookstores, craft stores or parks with my husband.
I originally grew up in WA state in the north Seattle area. I moved to PA in 2022 so I’m still learning about PA and the east coast but I am definitely loving it.
Also meet my cat, Hades, who is often making an appearance to greet my clients. I promise he is the only outside visitor in our confidential sessions.
